Im sure by now, you have all heard about the devastating bushfires which are ravaging a lot of Victoria. The death toll in the Victorian bushfires now stands at 130, police have confirmed.

The Red Cross has setup an Appeal, where people can donate money towards the victims of this disaster. 100% of the money goes towards helping the people affected by the bushfires.

Southern Infantry Corps has donated $200 towards the Victorian Bushfire Appeal, and I encourage anyone who reads this to make a donation. This can be done online here or by phone by calling: 1800 811 700 (Freecall from anywhere in Australia)

"This is without doubt one of the biggest disasters Australia has ever faced -- the needs are enormous, and we need the response from Australians to be enormous as well" - Australian Red Cross Chief Executive Officer Robert Tickner.

To anyone who lives in, or has family living in Victoria that are affected by the fires - our thoughts are with you.

May God (or whoever you may worship) help everyone involved in the fires: victims, firefighters, relief workers and volunteers.
